APACCDM - Asia and the Pacific Clean Development Mechanism

Welcome to the Asia and the Pacific Clean Development Mechanism (APACCDM), we are an organization managed by and for the benefit of the CDM community specifically in South Asia and Southeast Asia. The APACCDM provides a venue for:

encouraging new CDM Projects for the protection of the environment and development of economies
promoting private sector participation in CDM
championing climate-change
advocating sustainable development
improving national regulations on CDM registration
an international venue for the presentation and discussion of frontier research and development on CDM and its related technologies.

We provide high-quality, cost-effective meeting and training aimed to be recognized as the region's premier strategic provider, where leading and budding CDM participants alike from across the region and around the globe discuss their latest work and future challenges in a uniquely informal, interactive format.

We are committed to promoting CDM participation from across the region bringing CDM participants together to discuss their current issues and build informal networks with their peers that may lead to a lifetime of collaboration and achievement. To that end, APACCDM has established the “Asia and the Pacific CDM Forum: Reaching for Double Dividend” on the 9th to 11th of June 2009 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, a meeting of CDM participants in South Asia and Southeast Asia aimed at developing new CDM Projects across the region and assist them along the process by providing a venue to meet prospective CER buyers, traders, technology providers, and regulators and experts from around the world.
